Every mix we pour has a printed window from a cooler, drier room than Suite 4. We still read the humidity cabinet. If the air is fat, the head sleeps here. That is not fuss. That is how sleeves stop walking on the first humid fairway.
The cabinet
Wet-bulb at pour, not at marketing
Isla logs the reading when the film goes in. Above our house line, the ticket gets an overnight stamp even if you arrived at 9:00. Below it, a weekday morning pour can still release the next morning — never the same afternoon.
The hold
Forty dollars instead of a spin
Drop-offs after 2:00 PM in a wet month almost always take the $40 hold. Heat guns on graphite to “hurry the cure” are how tips get scarred and films get brittle. We will not do that for a Saturday shotgun.
